Tyler Russell is an audio professional and graduate from the College of Arts and Media at the University of Colorado Denver (UCD). His audio journey began when he was in kindergarten when he started taking piano lessons. Throughout primary, middle, and high school he also played the clarinet, the violin, the cello, and various percussion instruments. During his senior year of high school, he was enrolled in dual enrollment program with the Warren Technical Institute through Red Rocks Community College. At Warren Tech, he studied audio production and live sound.
Following his high school graduation, he continued his journey on to UCD in their Recording Arts Non-Audition and Photography programs. During his time at UCD, he maintained a 3.96 GPA across various audio, photography, and general education courses. He graduated with highest honors in May of 2024.
As for his photography experience, he has always been loosely interested in photography. Once he started studying at UCD, he enrolled in as many photography classes as the department would let him. Throughout his time at the university, he experimented with digital photography, black and white / color analog photography, instant photography, and experimental photography processes. He completed a number of different projects both in and out of his courses which demonstrate his love of the mediums.
